BSR Transport & Logistics Practice
Angie leads BSR's Transport and Logistics practice, working with companies and stakeholders across the value chain to advance the integration of sustainability into the global logistic supply chain. She brings over a decade of experience working with leading companies on strategy and reporting projects including with GE and A.P. Moller-Maersk. Angie also steers three key industry platforms: BSR's Clean Cargo Working Group, a collaboration of global shippers, carriers, and logistics providers dedicated to environmental performance improvement in maritime transportation management; the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network, an initiative developed by the maritime industry to eliminate corruption across the maritime supply chain; and the Container Ship Safety Forum, an initiative formed to improve safety in the industry.
Prior to joining BSR, Angie worked at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and Andersen in London, where she provided strategic advisory and sustainability report assurance services to companies in a number of sectors. Some of her key clients included Vodaphone, Unilever and Rolls Royce. She is a British citizen with Egyptian heritage, and she speaks English, French, and Arabic.
Angie holds an E.M.B.A. in Energy Management from ESCP Paris/BI Oslo/IFP Paris, and a M.Sc. in Sustainable Tourism, Environment, and Development Studies from the University of London. She also holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from Southampton University.
Manager, Advisory Services
Maurice helps multinational companies in the transport and logistics sector improve their sustainability performance through BSR’s Maritime Anti Corruption Network and Container Ship Safety Forum.
In these roles, he facilitates engagement and collaboration among maritime companies and their value chain partners through sharing of best practices, analysis of performance data on incidents and anti-corruption, and projects on materiality, stakeholder engagement and strategy.
Before joining BSR, Maurice worked with the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group, where he led the development and implementation of sustainability strategy, along with responsibilities on environment and climate change issues in the offshore and maritime industry. He has been involved with various industry organizations, such as INTERTANKO, OCIMF, and IADC, supporting and driving industry standards on environmental performance.
Maurice holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of Limerick in Ireland and is currently pursuing an E.M.B.A. in Innovation and Technology at the Danish Technical University.
